tania & jonathan – august 15, 2015

My first meeting with Tania was over coffee and scones as we discussed the details of her wedding. I also had the pleasure of meeting Tania’s mother. I had a blast working with the two of them. We had no shortage of laughs during our meetings and would often get side tracked just chatting about life. I was so pumped about their wedding at Pala Mesa Resort. This was the first time working at this venue so I couldn’t wait to see it!

As I pulled into the parking lot on their wedding day, I could hardly contain my excitement. What a beautiful spot to say I do! Not long after arriving, I got to watch Tania finish her hair and make-up and get into her wedding dress. The dress was perfect for her and she looked radiant in it. Surrounded by mountains, trees and their closest friends and family, Jonathan and Tania said “I do” and sealed their vows with a kiss.

After the ceremony, guests mingled during cocktail hour and then made their way into the tent for the reception. Some of my favorite details of their wedding were the flowers, the bride’s dress and the beautiful chandeliers hanging throughout the tent. I also love how Tania and Jonathan named their tables using all of their favorite restaurant spots. Following dinner, toasts were made and a slideshow played of pictures taken throughout their relationship. Then the fun got started as the band played and guests crowded the dance floor. At one point during the reception, Tania got on the mic and serenaded the crowd. It was ah-mazing and one of the best things I’ve seen at a wedding!

One thing that was clear throughout their wedding day, was that Tania was happy. Like soooo happy. She had the biggest smile on her face all day long and I’m pretty Jonathan was responsible for that. This was such a fun wedding to be a part of and one that I won’t soon forget!

{Tania & Jonathan – Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!
